WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF MASAT?

There are 3 different types of sharpeners in Pirge. Sharpeners with different functions are used for different performances and different blades.

On Round Sharpeners: All 360° surfaces of the sharpener can be used. Since the contact area is narrow, short blades should be preferred.

Oval sharpening stones: The two opposing surfaces of the sharpening stone can be used for more comfortable sharpening. Oval sharpening stones are ideal for general use.

In Full Flat Sharpening: The surface of the sharpening is wider than other sharpening types. It is generally not preferred for knives with long cutting parts such as döner knives.

Your knife should be at an angle of approximately 20-25° to the sharpening surface. To sharpen your knife, you need to pull the knife along the sharpening surface from left to right several times. Remember that both sides should touch the sharpening surface equally.
