Do I need to sharpen the product I purchased before using it?

Pirge products are sharpened with superior craftsmanship and packaged ready for use. You do not need to sharpen them again. When you receive your knife in its closed package, you can try Pirge sharpness as soon as you open it.

Can I wash my knives in the dishwasher?

Since the stainless steels used by Pirge in production are special high carbon alloy steels, oxidation caused by chemical substances can be observed when washed in the dishwasher. The cutting edge of your knife can be damaged as a result of impacts caused by pressurized hot water in the dishwasher. For these reasons, we recommend that our products be washed by hand instead of in the dishwasher.
