The ZKTeco F18 is an innovative biometric fingerprint reader for access control. Its high-performance firmware and compact design have made it one of ZKTeco’s most popular devices. The terminal runs the latest ZKTeco firmware, featuring a user-friendly interface and flexible user privilege settings for multi-level management. The new hardware platform utilizes the ZMM210 baseboard with a 1.2 GHz processor. Optimized hardware and firmware enhancements allow the new F18 to verify fingerprints with even greater efficiency. The device offers the flexibility of standalone installation or integration with any third-party access control panel that supports the standard Wiegand signal.

Key Features

Biometric features – 3,000 fingerprint templates. Fingerprint recognition speed is no more than 2 seconds. High-quality ZK optical sensor for accurate and fast identification.

Device programming – Entering a new user via the terminal menu. When building a networked distributed access control system, fingerprint registration is performed via software using the terminal itself or a USB fingerprint recorder. The fingerprint database can be simultaneously written to all network terminals.

RS485 and Ethernet network interfaces for PC communication – Enabling fingerprint-based security systems with multiple access points. USB host allows for manual download of attendance records to a USB drive for later viewing on a computer.
